Penrose Poll Merino Stud A progressive poll merino stud, breeding genetics that will advance us into the future. We are a family run stud that was founded in 1979.

However it has only been since 2004 that we have really come into our own. Seeing the potential that a larger, freer growing animal has in the way of dual purpose and ease of management; we turned our attention away from our more traditional founding blood to the likes of Leahcim, Wallaloo Park and Glenlea Park. Since doing so we have noticed a large decrease in micron, an increase in staple lengt

h and strength, an increase in lamb growth rates, as well as an increase in lambing percentages from ewes mated. With all this positive movement in the stud we hope to find a continuing client base that wishes to reap the rewards of progressing with us...
