🍇 Let Us Introduce Ourselves 🍷

We’re Kim and Geoff Jones, and 15 years ago we began our farming journey with Speckle Park cattle and potatoes. Farming has been a way of life for us, and with a shared passion for wine, we decided in 2023 to take a leap and plant vines at Wattle Grove.

Since then, we’ve planted 4 hectares of vineyard and are slowly bringing our dream to life. Our vision is to create a place where people can gather, relax, and enjoy beautiful wines alongside a paddock-to-plate menu showcasing the best of what we grow and produce.

With planning approval now in place for our cellar door and restaurant, we’re excited to continue building something special and hope to welcome you to Wattle Grove in late 2027.

Why do we sometimes decanter wines 🍇

To let the wine breathe
* Exposure to oxygen can “open up” a wine’s aromas and flavors.
* Young, bold wines—especially reds like Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah—can taste softer and more expressive after 30 minutes to a couple hours in a decanter.
