As we pause to honour those who served, it’s incredible to think about how far technology has come — and how even something as simple as Air Conditioning has played a role in history.
During wartime, cooling systems were vital in protecting equipment, preserving medical supplies, and keeping troops safe in harsh climates. These innovations helped maintain strength and resilience in some of the toughest conditions imaginable.
Today, air conditioning continues to make a difference in our homes, workplaces, and community spaces, creating comfort and wellbeing for all. And we thank those before us who have allowed us this freedom.

Air Conditioning still plays an essential role in Defence operations across the Army, Navy, and Air Force. From maintaining safe environments on ships and submarines to cooling aircraft electronics and ensuring comfort for those who continue to serve.
On this Remembrance Day, we remember the ingenuity and sacrifice of those who served and reflect on how advancements, big and small, have shaped the world we live in.
