MEET SOME OF THE WOMEN BEHIND DFQ | DIESELFLEX QUEENSLAND 💙💗💪🏼

You’ve seen our crew out on site. You’ve seen the DFQ name in action. And for over two years now, we’ve been building a reputation we’re incredibly proud of, backed by an amazing team who show up, put in the hard yards, and represent DFQ with pride. But there’s a whole lot that happens behind the scenes before the work even begins.

So, we thought it was about time you meet two of the women behind the name! 👊🏼

✨ Marnie Cummings | Director & The Vision Behind DFQ

The woman with the vision, the drive, and the determination to build DFQ into what it is today.
Running a business is a job in itself, but Marnie doesn’t stop there. She’s also mum to her beautiful daughter, juggling business decisions, big goals, and a busy dance schedule along the way! 💃🏼❤️

Between growing DFQ, navigating the challenges that come with running a business, and making sure she’s there for the most important little person in her world, Marnie wears plenty of hats and somehow keeps finding room for more. Her determination, commitment, and belief in what DFQ can become are a huge part of the journey so far. She’s building more than a business; she’s building something she’s proud of, creating opportunities, and laying the foundations for what’s still to come.

✨ Affy Nepia | Executive Business Partner & The Drive Behind DFQ

Every big vision needs drive, determination, and someone ready to help bring it all to life. Affy plays an important role in helping keep DFQ moving forward. From supporting the team and coordinating the moving parts to tackling challenges and helping turn plans into action, she brings a hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to the business.

She’s someone who gets stuck in, backs herself, and understands that building something great takes teamwork, trust, and plenty of hard work behind the scenes. Her contribution is a big part of helping DFQ continue to grow and move towards what’s next. Outside of business, Affy is mum to her two boys, who bring plenty of love, laughter, and adventure to her world. ❤️ Balancing family and business keeps life busy, but they’re a huge part of her motivation and the future she’s working towards.

Different strengths, different roles, but one shared goal: building a business, supporting an incredible crew, and continuing to make the DFQ name one we’re proud to stand behind.

Every day, we work alongside people who may be carrying things we know nothing about.

We see each other through the early mornings, the busy days, the good days and the difficult ones. We share conversations, we laugh, we work together, but we don’t always know what’s happening beneath the surface.

So today, take a moment to look around.

Check in with your workmate.
Check in with the person who always checks in on everyone else.
Check in with the person who might not seem like they need it.

Ask “R U OK?”, and give them the time and space to answer honestly.

Because we may not always see what someone is carrying, but we can always choose to let them know they don’t have to carry it alone. 💛
