Busy week? Here's a fish and chips recipe the whole family will love, and it's easier than you think. ππ
All you need is fresh fish from Mackay Fish Market and about 30 minutes. Let's go.
What you'll need:
π Fresh white fish fillets (reef fish works a treat)
π₯ 4 medium potatoes, cut into thick wedges
π« Olive oil
π§ Garlic powder
πΆοΈ Paprika
π§ Salt and pepper
π Lemon wedges to serve
π₯ Tartar sauce to serve
Here's how:
1οΈβ£ Toss your potato wedges in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Spread on a baking tray and bake at 200Β°C for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
2οΈβ£ While the chips are doing their thing, brush your fish fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
3οΈβ£ Grill your fish on medium heat for around 3 to 4 minutes each side until cooked through and golden.
4οΈβ£ Squeeze fresh lemon over the top, grab the tartar sauce and serve it all up.
Done. Dinner on the table in under 30 minutes and the family thinks you're a legend. π
