Data communications and vision platform solutions
Many mining, quarrying, construction and transport companies have the requirement for remote data from their fleet and other field systems. The requirement for mobile or remote based network infrastructure to move large volumes of data can be prohibitively expensive and difficult to maintain. This can add further complexity into cost into your business.
Modern mining and remote field data systems are carrying large amounts of traffic both ways and many companies require data from multiple systems at once. It is not uncommon to have fleet system data, geotechnical monitoring systems, camera vision, remote weather stations, field tablets and laptops and the like all needing to supply and receive data in the field at one time.
The common solution has been to use a network of mobile and fixed repeaters and access points to cover all areas of the operation. These mobile platforms have become expensive over time and many providers have entered the market on the back of the boom in fleet systems. There is now a multitude of mobile platforms available for data comms and vision solutions; many of which are not fit for purpose or have simply been common trailers modified to fit repeaters, masts and solar panels on them. Then there are a group that are ridiculously overbuilt and come with a price tag to match.
The Poly suite of mobile platforms from Mining Vision Pty Ltd stands out in a crowded room of providers for many reasons. There has been a great deal of design innovation put into these new platforms with feedback from experienced operations people who use and manage remote networks on a daily basis. These types of Wi-Fi and camera platforms regularly need to operate in remote areas, in all sorts of weather conditions, need to be easily managed by one person, quick to set up, robust and light weight.
The Poly suite of remote platform solutions consists of the Poly 1 and 2 data/vision trailers and the Poly 4 (in final design) for data/vision/lighting needs. They can be mixed and matched on site to provide a complete networking platform solution across your site.
Some of the distinct reasons why the Mining Vision solutions stand out from the crowd:
• Purpose built and designed from a clean sheet with mining industry input.
• Non corrosive, Repels water, does not rust & floats + lasts forever
• Has no steel chassis to rust or corrode in the field
• The few parts in steel are hot gal dipped & removable/replaceable as parts.
• Easily upgradable from Poly 1 to Poly 2 by adding extra 325watt panel & 2 x 200Ah batteries as a parts kit from the vendor.
• 5.8m pneumatic mast capable of 15kilos payload i.e. wireless & vision, larger mast options available on request.
• Lightweight & easily to manoeuvre and handle in the field by one person
• Capable of 400Ah @ 24v, Poly 4 will have 800Ah @ 24v & 1300watts of panels
• Adaptable to all types of access points or Wi-Fi radios (cisco, Ubiquiti, 3dp, etc)
• Cameras supplied including the incredible new Samsung IR PTZ. SNP-6320RH. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xp1_W4XjO_I
Not only are the Mining Vision Poly trailer platforms purpose built as remote Wi-Fi solutions, they are also incredibly competitive on pricing and are cheaper than the vast majority of data/vision trailers in the market place. These Australian designed and built trailers set the benchmark for remote communications solutions. Mining Vision will configure and customise to your requirements to ensure your network platform will remain operational and reliable for years of use and abuse in the field.
