Believe it or not, feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list, or finding you have more to do at the end of the day than at the start, is pretty common.

Here are 5 expert tips to get your to-do list working for you again.

🔹 1. The most important step is to find a planner system that works for you. Whether you use an online software or a hard copy diary or notebook, find a planner that matches your organisational and work style.

🔹 2. Routine is everything. Set time aside each week to list all of your commitments for the next week ahead. At the end of the working day, set time aside to set your schedule for the next day.

🔹 3. Manage your to-do list. Divide your list into 3 sections of importance and batch similar tasks together when possible.

🔹 4. List 3 tasks of high importance that you want to achieve during the day. Make it a priority to get these completed as you will feel like you have accomplished something.

🔹 5. We all have a best time of day. Find out what time of day you work best and focus on doing those high concentration/priority tasks during those times.
