Smarter Optical Fibre Cable Management

Managing high core count optical fibre cables requires solutions that make installation, organisation and cable transitions simpler and more efficient.

WBT’s Breakout Manifold Kits and Mass Fusion Splice Trays are designed to help manage large core fibre cables and transition them into smaller, more manageable distribution cables.

Breakout Manifold Kits
• Suitable for rollable ribbon and stranded fibre cables
• Divide large core cables into smaller subunits
• Available for fibre cable sizes from 144F up to 6912F
• Compatible with various cable brands, including Prysmian, Sumitomo and Furukawa
• Customisable to suit specific cable types, sizes and deployment requirements
• Supplied with breakout manifold, mounting brackets and installation accessories
• Can be mounted onto cable management brackets and secured via the cable central strength member
• Suitable for use with WBT ODF systems

Mass Fusion Splice Trays
Designed for Telecom Exchanges and Data Centre entrance facilities, WBT’s Mass Fusion Splice Trays enable large multi core fibre cables to be spliced into smaller indoor or distribution cables.

For example, an 864F rollable ribbon cable can be transitioned into multiple 144F distribution cables, allowing cables to be efficiently routed to different areas of a facility.

Available in 1RU 19” or 21” rack mount configurations, the trays can be rear or mid mounted at the bottom of an ODF or inside a demarcation or splice wall box.

🎉 We checked in at WBT Maidstone to celebrate a truly historic milestone for Prysmian.

This week, our team came together over afternoon tea to mark the announcement of Prysmian's landmark long-term partnership with Molex, valued at more than €5.5 billion over the next 10 years.

The agreement forms part of a broader strategy expected to deliver more than €10 billion in additional revenue from hyperscalers and data centre providers, supported by a €1.25 billion investment to significantly expand optical fibre manufacturing capacity and create more than 1,000 new jobs worldwide.

It is an exciting moment for everyone across the Prysmian family, reinforcing our position as a global leader in digital infrastructure and helping power the next generation of AI and data centres.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Maidstone, and to Andrea Kraus, Oceania CEO, for celebrating this incredible achievement with our Warren & Brown Technologies and AmaPro teams.
