Magnetic particle testing (MPT or MT) is a fast, low-cost way to find tiny cracks on or just beneath the surface of metal parts.

The key Advantages of MPT are;

High Sensitivity: It easily finds very small, light surface and near-surface cracks (like seams or laps) that regular eye examinations might miss.

Fast Results: The test takes only a few minutes, and the magnetic powder shows flaws right away with a black iron over spray for quick decisions and machine history.

Have been told by the Secretary (HRH) a few things that are not allowed anywhere near the Boarmobile;

- No after work high vis, especially after services and gouging. 🫡
- No grease, oil or diesel allowed on hands. 🤷🏽‍♂️
- No swarf lodged in boots after lineboring. 😥
- No removal of rear tub for a service back. 🤯
- No playing around with engine components or bigger turbos.😭
- No custom fabricated parts hanging off anything. 💀
- Only to be used for Quotes and business meetings in Boretearers Polo shirts........🫡

And that my fellow Tearers is the way of the world, more rules, less freedoms and how us wild Boars get domesticated. 😞
