Winter is nearly done with us. The fields are full, the garden is waking up, and colour is creeping back in a little more each day. Some moments don’t translate to a screen. You have to meet us here.

“How did you get the wine down there without wrecking it?” - we get this one a lot.

So in this one, Damien walks you through the call he made to move our wine from the winery shed into the underground cellar, and how we did it without disturbing a drop. Behind him, the team’s busy filling our large-format vessels with this year’s new wines - and we’ve slipped in a couple of snapshots of the cellar being built while we were at it.

There are so many good stories buried in this space, and we’re only just getting started sharing them. More coming in a couple of weeks. 👀

We still use oak. But we also wanted another way to build structure in our wines.

So we turned to something already in the vineyard - the rachis (stems).

With the right process, they become a natural tannin source. Prepared, refined, and reintroduced with purpose.

It’s been here all along. We’re just working with it differently.
