We are looking for an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Tableland Aircraft Maintenance on a full time basis. We are a busy general aviation workshop based in Mareeba, QLD. Tableland Aircraft Maintenance has been servicing the general aviation industry for the last 40+ years, and carries out a wide range of work to a variety of General Aviation aircraft.
You won't get stuck doing one task over and over, we handle general Maintenance, Refurbishments, Major Rebuilds, Remote breakdowns, Component Overhaul and more.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
A completed Certificate 4 is preferred with pass marks above 75% is preferred, however a traditional apprenticeship will be considered for the right applicant.
A candidate who takes pride in the quality of their work and values the contribution they make to the workplace, would be a welcomed team member.
Ideal skills include:
• A strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and apply Manufacturers and Regulators technical data/documentation to work processes
• Able to use tools in a safe and appropriate manner
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy (preferred although not essential)
• Must be able to pass Pre-Employment and ongoing Drug and Alcohol Screens
• Manual drivers licence preferred

Routine & Non-Routine Maintenance on a variety of General Aviation aircraft & aircraft components, complying with relevant procedures manuals and associated CASA requirements. Be able to follow directions and guidance, able to work independently and ask questions when required.

We are looking for an experienced AME or LAME to join our team at Tableland Aircraft Maintenance & Cape Air Transport on a full time basis. We are a busy general aviation workshop based in Mareeba, QLD.

Wide range of work. You won't get stuck doing one task over and over, we handle general Maintenance, Refurbishments, Major Rebuilds, Remote breakdowns, Component Overhaul and more.
Skills & Qualifications Required:

GENERAL AVIATION EXPERIENCE MANDATORY
AME:

Experience in maintaining General Aviation aircraft or experience on larger aircraft and a willingness to learn.

AME's working towards a license strongly encouraged to apply.
LAME:

CASA License required. General aviation experience mandatory.
Roles & Duty’s

Routine & Non-Routine Maintenance on a variety of General Aviation aircraft & aircraft components, complying with relevant procedures manuals and associated CASA requirements. Be able to follow directions and guidance, able to work independently and ask questions when required

Above award wages apply. AME starting at $65,000 salary package, LAME starting at $86,000 salary package. Remuneration depends on experience and license coverage.

It’s funny this post comes up today, while we have two more aircraft in the shop getting the same upgrade at the moment. I’ll try and remember to grab some progress pictures in the next few days!

Permanent Part Time, Starting at a Minimum 3 days per week.
The Accounts Officer will perform a vast range of accounting services including, accounts data entry, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable & payroll.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Collating and data entry of accounts documents including purchases, purchase orders, delivery slips, credit notes, statements and back orders
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card accounts, petty cash and MYOB business accounts.
• Reconcile supplier statements and rectifying incorrect / missing invoices.
• Creating customer invoices and reconciling accounts receivable.
• Completing reports for the Management Director on Accounts Receivable and Payables status.
• Preparing and processing EOM accounts payable files.
• Provide administrative support to office team when needed.
• Maintain extreme privacy and integrity with matters relating to, employees, customer information, projects and tender correspondence.
• Provide reports, information and supporting documents to the Company’s accountants in preparation for ATO commitments.
Must have:
* 3 years minimum office admin experience
* Detailed MYOB Knowledge Essential - Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Account Reconciliation
* Strong computer skills, Excel, Word

Friday was just one of those days... you know when they start overflowing the workshop it’s just going to chaos.
All worked out well in the end tho, we managed to get everything out that was planned. Just another day in the workshop!
And next week we do it all again!
