We’re seeing pink this month, and we hope you will too!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Flight Options is proud to support the Charity Gala Ball in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

As part of this fabulous initiative, Flight Options has donated a one-hour experience in our Airbus A320 flight simulator for two people. Valued at $1,500, the experience will be auctioned at the gala, with proceeds supporting breast cancer research.

The immersive experience is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pilots — so whether you've always dreamed of taking the controls of an A320 or you're already an experienced aviator, this is your chance to experience our simulator for yourself. ✈️

Ready to take your instrument flying to the next level? ✈️

Gaining your Instrument Rating Multi Engine Aeroplane (IR MEA) is an important step for pilots looking to expand their capabilities and progress towards a career in charter or airline operations.

At Flight Options, our IR MEA course combines comprehensive ground training, simulator sessions and in-aircraft training in our Piper PA-44 Seminole, giving pilots the opportunity to develop the knowledge, precision and practical skills required to operate multi-engine aircraft under instrument flight rules.

The course covers everything from IFR departures and arrivals, GNSS and navigation to instrument approaches, holding patterns, night operations and emergency procedures.

Our highly experienced instructors deliver training at our Sunshine Coast facility, using our on-site FRASCA Seminole training device alongside in-aircraft training.

We've put together three training packages for the Spring season, built around preparing you for the next step in your career.

If you are sitting on a fresh CPL, the full package covers your multi engine class rating, multi engine instrument rating (both in the PA44 Seminole) your IREX theory training and 20 hours of Multi Crew Cooperation training in the A320 simulator for $35,700 rather than $43,600.

If you already have the ratings, and you are applying now, the MCC and Airline Interview Preparation package is $5,800. That the same 20 hours in the A320 sim (10 PF + 10 PM) plus 2 hours flying the sim assessment profiles AND 4 hours of interview technique and CV presentation training.

For those who just require the ratings, the Multi Engine Class Rating and Mutli Engine Instrument Rating together is only $31,790 rather than $35,700 (we will even throw in the IREX theory course and the flight test)
