5 Reasons Buying Your Own Home Beats Renting":
Thinking about buying a home? You're not alone—and for good reason. Here are five solid reasons owning your place is better than renting in Australia.
1. It can save you money
Jason, a FIFO worker in WA, built a home in Two Rocks and now pays less on his mortgage than he did in rent. He’s $360 better off each month—and it’s his place.
2. It builds wealth
Sydney lawyer Thomas bought a flat in the eastern suburbs, aiming to use its rising value to fund future investments. Property, for him, is a wealth-building move.
3. Your money works for you
Jessica in regional Victoria was over paying rent. Now her repayments are building her future, not her landlord’s.
4. You’re secure
No more surprise lease terminations. Owning means no one can kick you out.
5. Total freedom
Samantha in Geelong loves that she can paint, renovate, or decorate—no permission needed.

Owning your own home? It’s a game-changer.
