Yesterday morning, our Women for Women Breakfast brought together a room of women who showed up curious, open and ready to listen.
We were joined by Cornelia Camacho, a valued WforW alumna, whose career has spanned private banking, technology, software development, consulting and small business management — and now into supporting bilateral trade and commercial relationships between German and Australian businesses with the German Australia Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
What stood out was the thread running through her story: a career that kept shifting, and a professional who kept growing with it.
Cornelia shared the key moments that shaped her path, the thinking behind her career pivots, and timely insights into the European-Australian Free Trade Agreement, including what it could mean for businesses on both sides.
Her advice was practical and memorable:
Focus on the customer. Build partnerships where both sides contribute. Find a mentor. Step into the challenge. Listen well. Speak up. Build genuine, collaborative relationships.
Thank you to Cornelia, and all who joined us yesterday morning.
