Yes, I am very busy, and I don't answer the phone a lot.

This is a very small business, and as such it is outside economic status to employ secretarial staff.

I rarely answer the phone, I am usually driving or bum-up underneath someone's machine, and I rely heavily on people's patience and understanding.

But as well as this, I rely on people leaving voicemail and text messages, so I can return calls and provide the services people need.

Most people have no problem with this.

But today I have had an anonymous caller say they rang fifteen times and I didn't answer the phone. They attributed this to a complete lack of customer service, not to the fact that they failed to leave one single message of any description.

I still have no idea who they are, or what they needed, that prompted fifteen calls to me in one day.

Please, please, please leave a message when you call, so I can respond.

Hello everyone

There has been a HUGE change in circumstances for my business.

I am now service agent for Fisher & Paykel, Electrolux, LG, Beko, Brightside, and I am doing one-time-authorised work for Samsung, Euromaid, Glen Dimplex, Home Appliances, and several others. I an also contracted to several real estate firms, and home-assist groups.

I have had to proceed down this road due to the lack of private work available to me.

While I will still take on private jobs, it must be understood that my now contracted work must take priority, and there may be significant delays in getting to private jobs.

I am very grateful to all who have supported me in growing my business, and i will return that support as I am able.

Just as a final word on this subject, another person who is starting a business along similar lines to my original venture, will be commencing in the near future, and we will be working in tandem to provide the service that you all expect.

Just a reminder, that while I am extremely grateful to be considered for your work, I am only an electrician, not a refrigeration mechanic. I am sorry, I can not work on fridges and airconditioning.

Hello all.

I find it necessary to once again remind clients that I am based in Maryborough.

This means that places like Hervey Bay, Tiaro, Burrum Heads, and so on, will incur a travel fee of $44 including GST.

I would love to be able to offer a free call to these places as i do in Maryborough, but alas with the escalating costs of vehicle maintenance, registration and above all, petrol, i am unable to offer free calling to outlying areas.

DON'T LET THEM TAKE YOUR MACHINE AWAY !

99% of the time, there is no need to take your machine away for repairs. Usually, they take them away when they have no idea what's wrong. and don't want to look bad.

'In-home service' means exactly that .... repairs carried out in your home, without the need to take the appliance away.

Just a reminder that it must be small repairs only, or appliances, and not installations.

I apologise humbly, but I have had to turn down some jobs recently, because they were either too big, or were installation work, which exceeded the limitations of my contractors license.
