Yes, I am very busy, and I don't answer the phone a lot.
This is a very small business, and as such it is outside economic status to employ secretarial staff.
I rarely answer the phone, I am usually driving or bum-up underneath someone's machine, and I rely heavily on people's patience and understanding.
But as well as this, I rely on people leaving voicemail and text messages, so I can return calls and provide the services people need.
Most people have no problem with this.
But today I have had an anonymous caller say they rang fifteen times and I didn't answer the phone. They attributed this to a complete lack of customer service, not to the fact that they failed to leave one single message of any description.
I still have no idea who they are, or what they needed, that prompted fifteen calls to me in one day.
Please, please, please leave a message when you call, so I can respond.
