A question I ask every business owner I work with:

"If we doubled your revenue tomorrow — would your business cope?"

Most pause. Then admit: probably not.

That's not a failure. It's information.

Growth without structure breaks businesses. I've seen it happen.

Before you chase more clients, ask yourself:
→ Do I have the people to deliver?
→ Do I have the systems to scale?
→ Do I have the leadership to hold it together?

If not — that's the real work. And it's worth doing properly.

Something I say to every team I work with:

"They will shift when you shift."

If you want your team to communicate better — start with you.
If you want more ownership in your business — model it first.
If you want a calmer culture — check your own energy in the room.

I was with a trades team this week, and one of the senior guys had been frustrated with the younger blokes for months.

Then mid-session, he said it out loud:

"They can't have my experience until I coach them."

That was the shift. The whole room felt it.

Leadership is contagious. So is the alternative.

One of the guys said something that stopped the room.
