PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: HMF 3220K

The HMF 3220K combines high lifting capacity with smooth operation and excellent manoeuvrability, making it a versatile choice for demanding lifting work.

Its low tare weight and compact design help make efficient use of the truck, while continuous slew gives the operator greater flexibility and ease of use on site.

This 3220K is mounted on a Kenworth prime mover for Rad haulage crane truck services and used to deliver timber trusses - and all sorts of other work! Thanks to the Rad Haulage team for choosing HMF.

There’s more to a large loader crane installation than meets the eye.

Here’s a BTS look at a prime mover build. The chassis has been stripped back so we can fit side plates along its length, bolted to the chassis and plug welded to the box-style subframe we’ve fabricated.

Once everything is painted and the HMF crane is mounted, it’s easy to overlook these details. This is a closer look at the planning, fabrication and installation work that goes into a finished package.

A look inside HMF’s manufacturing facility in Højbjerg, where HMF loader cranes are built.

One of the keys to HMF’s impressive strength-to-weight ratio is the use of high-quality, high-tensile steel. Its greater strength allows less material to be used where possible, helping reduce overall crane tare weight without compromising structural strength.
