As Christmas and New Year approaches, we wanted to give you a friendly heads-up about our opening hours over the 2023/24 festive break 🎄

Shottesbrooke Vineyards Cellar Door will be Closed on December 24th, 25th and 26th, and on January 1st. On open days, our hours will be from 11am - 5pm 🎅

We highly recommend booking ahead if you wish to join us for sunshine, wines and good times during the festive season, particularly the week between December 27th - 31st as this is our busiest time of year!

It is with great pleasure to share that we have been awarded two trophies at the 2023 MGA Insurance McLaren Vale Wine Show for two of our Shottesbrooke Vineyards Engine Room by Hamish Maguire wines!

🍷 Shottesbrooke Vineyards 2022 Engine Room by Hamish Maguire Shiraz Tempranillo has been awarded the trophy for Best Shiraz Predominant Blend.

🍷 And Shottesbrooke Vineyards 2022 Engine Room by Hamish Maguire Cabernet Sangiovese has been awarded the trophy for Best Cabernet Blend.

For more than 10 years now, we have proudly made our Engine Room Wines exclusively for Naked Wines Australia.

We are humbled to have been recognised at our homegrown wine show here in McLaren Vale alongside our local community. The support within the local McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Peninsula communities certainly doesn’t go unfelt, and we thank you all.

☀️ It is a beautiful time of year here in where our vineyards are prospering with new season growth, gardens are full of beautiful springtime produce, and local wildlife (and their young) are a-plenty!

But, it’s also a busy time with vineyard management and an increase in the number of visitors we see.

We kindly ask that when you drive down our beautiful long driveway that you do so nice and slowly to keep our guests, staff and wildlife safe. And if you see our wildlife in real life and would like to take a picture, please do – but don’t forget that our vineyards cannot be entered so please remain a safe distance away from the vines when taking pictures.

🌱 By helping us with these small things, you’re helping us continue to make big changes as a winery in McLaren Vale - Australia’s most sustainable wine grape growing region!
