Top Gold for our 2026 Hidden Orchard Grenache at the Royal Adelaide W**e Show.

With w**e judging in Adelaide dating back to 1845, the Royal Adelaide W**e Show holds a special place in Australian w**e. Its long history, exacting standards and strong field of entries make it one of the country’s most prestigious w**e competitions. An Adelaide gold is a hard-earned result and an achievement that carries real weight among w**emakers. Gold medals are awarded to w**es scoring 95 points or above, recognising outstanding quality.

Our newly released 2026 Hidden Orchard Grenache has won the '2025 and younger Grenache' category scoring a 96 Top Gold Medal.

A fresh, fragrant expression of McLaren Vale Grenache, Hidden Orchard captures the bright fruit and aromatics of the milder 2026 vintage. Around 40% whole bunches contribute aromatic lift and gentle structure, alongside vibrant red fruit and a touch of mint. A chillable style of Grenache released just in time for spring.

The result also holds personal significance for our third generation w**emaker, Peter. It marks his first gold medal at the Royal Adelaide W**e Show, recognising the direction he is taking Woodstock’s w**es while building on the foundations laid by his father Scott and grandfather Douglas.

We’re excited to reopen The Lawns for the season this long weekend! Saturday is already fully booked unfortunately, but we still have tables available on Sunday.
Please note, The Lawns will be closed Monday for the public holiday.

Our Saturday Grooves & Grenache event is now fully booked — we look forward to seeing everyone who has secured their spot!💃🍷

🦘 WILDLIFE FEEDING
Our daily wildlife feeding experience is currently at capacity for both Saturday & Sunday.

Spring is calling and we’ll back 7 days a week. 🌞🍷

Winter hours are officially coming to an end, which means more days for long lunches, cellar door tastings and a glass (or two) at Woodstock.
As of Monday 28 September, our Cellar Door returns to 7 days a week, 11am–4pm.

And there’s more good news…

The Lawns are coming back. ☀️
From Saturday 3 October (October Long Weekend) The Lawns will officially reopen for the season, every Saturday + Sunday.

Think Woodstock w**es, Gin Long Canteen, live music, sunshine and slow afternoons under the gum trees.🍷

A hunch worth planting. 🌿

When the Moritz Road vineyard joined the family in 2019, we knew this sandy, southeast-facing Blewitt Springs block needed a plan of its own.
So, in 2022, we planted Fiano, a heat-loving Mediterranean variety that takes its time to ripen. It felt like the perfect match for the vineyard.
The new 2026 Moritz Fiano proves the hunch paid off. Ripe stone fruit and lemon zest meet roasted almond and a beautifully textured palate, thanks to fermentation in stainless steel and seasoned French oak.
Fresh, layered and finishing crisp. Enjoy it now or cellar it for up to three years.
