We take our vineyards and our wine, but not ourselves too seriously... Our grapes are sourced from our own, as well as our mate’s, vineyards, from regions that produce expressive, varietal characteristics for the grapes being grown. Located in the McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills, Barossa and further afield. Hence the simple, but diligent pursuit of producing wines that reflect a sense of place, style and purpose. We have always aimed to produce wines with personality and expression... that’s why we gave them names. Each wine has evolved to have a face of its own. We are pleasantly surprised when we received out latest results from the New York International W**e Competition that we have been awarded Australian Shiraz W**ery of the Year, that our 2023 Lake Doctor \ Langhorne Creek Shiraz.... was just what the Doctor ordered taking the top medal/Double Gold for best Shiraz and our 2023 Chocolate Factory another Gold Medal in the same class. We know these two always impress, and glad to see that New York agrees.

After their winter slumber, the vineyards are starting to transform, with fresh green shoots slowly painting the rows with colour. It’s one of those little signs that tells us warmer days, longer lunches and plenty of white w**e drinking weather are on the way. ⁠
