The Estate is still owned by the Lloyd family and is now managed by Mark and Paul Lloyd. The Estate is situated in the undulating hills of the densely planted McLaren Vale region just within sight of the sea and less than an hour from Adelaide. The original farmhouses were built in 1860 and are now the epicentre of the garden and cellar door at the winery. The original vineyards were planted in 19

19. Shiraz is the great tradition of McLaren Vale going back over 150 years, and is the major variety planted on the estate. Coriole has been an Australian pioneer of Sangiovese and Italian varieties since 1985.

Recently the (sold out!) Coriole Music Festival was held here at Coriole, an annual event that showcases incredible classical and chamber music in our winery barrel hall. All three concerts from this year’s festival will be broadcast on ABC Classic starting TONIGHT (Wednesday 3rd June) at 8pm and continuing Thursday and Friday on the Evening Concert with Joel Carnegie program.
