Marie in Accounts has asked me to help her get the word out about something she’s working on outside SignBoys. Yes, she has another life.

When she’s not wearing her SignBoys hat, she also designs and hosts small group tours in collaboration with local travel agent, Hastwell Travel & Cruise.
In May next year, she’s hosting Coast, Culture & Timeless Traditions — a 15-day fully escorted small group tour from Hiroshima to Tokyo, designed to show travellers a quieter, more authentic side of Japan. 🇯🇵⛩️
Knowing how well she organises and looks after all of us here, we reckon the people travelling with her will be pretty well looked after too. 😄
She has already taken a number of bookings (couples & solos) with room for a few more.

When the old school Italian client came to us and said … “can you patch up my 40yo Sign?” 😳

That thing was there before Col. started his apprenticeship! 😂

We said, ’No mate, sorry, that is dangerously close to blowing down in the next strong wind! 🫣😬

So we quoted him on a brand new, powder coated steel pylon sign with easily interchangeable panels, thinking there’s no way he’s going to go ahead with that.

WELL … Guess what ?

People still surprise us. Sam did go ahead and here is his shiny new pylon sign.

That should see him through the next 30+yrs.

Sam will be 110 by then. Haha

One of our newer clients, in Southern Regional Waste Resource Authority (SRWRA) - or for those of us old enough to remember, Pedler Creek Dump, as it used to be known - is working hard with SignBoys to get their name and brand out there to the public.

With this striking design from designer, Paul, their street sweeper truck won’t be missed, that’s for sure !

Ryan nailed the wrap in a premium cast printed film; it’s another quality looking vehicle graphic!

These guys are a pleasure to work with & there are more projects coming !

It was very rewarding to freshen up the look and impact of the existing (at least) 25yo signage at clinic.

As you can see from the 'before and after' photos, it's a BIG IMPROVEMENT!

✨ new acrylic printed faces in the roadside illuminated sign, also replacing the old and outdated fluoro tubes with bright new LED modules and driver
✨ new 2400 x 1200 aluminium composite wall sign, designed and printed full colour with an anti-graffiti clear overlaminate
✨ even the smaller double sided ENTRANCE sign got a facelift

These guys are great for physio, podiatry and taking care of all your sports injury needs - and now they look good too!

came to us with a low-resolution AI-generated idea for a wall graphic to brighten up their very clinical white reception/waiting room.

So… Gus, our gun Designer, went to work to see what he could do with it.

Within a couple of hours, with some clever design work and AI resolution enhancement, he turned it into this striking and colorful wall graphic statement piece that has everyone commenting!

In addition, we supplied and installed a clean, simple LaserCut acrylic logo and name on the front of their Reception counter.

Thanks to the team at Fleurieu Veterinary Centre for choosing SignBoys.

Showing the variety of what we do here at SignBoys …

Here’s our Head Installer, Ryan … Doing Ryan things, like how are we going to get that heavy 3mm aluminium panel with 20mm acrylic push through logo up there while hanging out of the basket of a boom lift ?!?!? …
Easy he says ! We’ll just use dual, parallel ratchet straps !

And up she goes, one click after another.

Isn’t that how everyone would do it ?

The Large LED full colour screen, LED backlit acrylic Logo and seamless custom fabricated capping looked absolutely mint when it was finished !!!

The client was so happy, they now want their Main Entrance Sign made to look the same.

As the next generation, Matt Bailey continues to put his stamp on McLaren Vale’s own The Bloke Shop.

SignBoys are really proud to be helping him advertise the quality brands he is growing his business around.

Investing in an aluminium double sided LED illuminated Sign Case, with Premium Cast translucent vinyl graphics, this bright & impressive looking sign will see them through the next 10-15yrs.

With a clean and sharp design, supported by a well engineered post & structure, then professionally installed by SignBoys head of production and installation … Ryan Smith.

With very minimal travel from workshop to site, it was a very efficient installation !

Oh and our new apprentice, Jimmy … Showing his skills as he holds the whole sign above his head.

You know you’re proud of a job when you can’t help but have a quick look every time you drive past it !

Which for us is anywhere from 2 to 6 times a day. LOVE IT!
