This is McLaren Vale’s annual invitation to slow down, tune in, and savour the region’s most expressive variety—Grenache. From exclusive tastings and long-table feasts, to immersive adventures and meet-the-maker masterclasses, this is a festival designed for curious palates and thoughtful travellers—those who appreciate craftsmanship, connection to land, and the stories behind every bottle. In Praise of Grenache! 🙏
With the spring sun gently warming the air, and In Praise of Shadows kicked off Grenache & Gourmet in true McLaren Vale style with a relaxed long lunch by the sea.

Vibrant, small-batch w**es were paired with a menu celebrating South Australian seafood, all enjoyed to the sound of the ocean gently lapping Aldinga Beach.
