Motii We are the Pipedrive CRM experts for high performance business

For years, trade businesses could rely on referrals, repeat customers, and a steady flow of work.

That's no longer a given.

With softer demand, rising costs, tighter margins, and increased competition, the businesses that thrive will be the ones that get smarter about how they win, manage, and convert opportunities.

This week on the Motii Playbook, Noam Horenczyk, Principal, Technology Partnerships at Simpro, joined Kate and Fred to discuss what's really happening across the trades sector and how leading businesses are responding.

One insight stood out: every lead matters. In a tighter market, a "no" should rarely mean "never". It should mean "not yet".

The businesses that stay connected to prospects, nurture opportunities, and create a seamless handover from sales to delivery are the ones building resilience for the future.

You paid for the software. Sat through the demos. Did the training.

And three months later, deals are still being tracked in notepads.

The software isn't usually the problem.

It's everything around it, how it was introduced, who owns it internally, and what happened after go-live.

We see five things kill adoption before it even starts:

→ No one explained why things were changing
→ The system was built for leadership, not the people using it daily
→ The old way of working was never properly switched off
→ No internal owner after the consultant left
→ The plan stopped at go-live instead of running for 90 days

Any of these feel familiar?

We've written about each one (and what to actually do about it) in our latest blog. Link in the comments.

Is your business actually ready for AI; or just experimenting with it? 🤖

At Motii, we talk a lot about using technology to drive real sales performance. And the truth is, we see a lot of businesses jumping into AI are doing it without answering one critical question first:

👉 What problem are you actually trying to solve?

We had a fascinating conversation with Declan Ivory, VP of Customer Support at Fin (formerly Intercom), where we explored one of the most talked-about claims in customer service right now; that AI can resolve 95% of support queries.

We dig into:
→ Whether that's really achievable — and what it takes to get there
→ How Fin is shaping the future of AI-powered customer support
→ Why the customer experience should always stay front and centre
→ How to make sure your AI efforts are tied to outcomes that actually matter

It's a really honest conversation about where AI is heading and how businesses can get the most out of it — without losing sight of what matters most.

This is what Bhuv does best, he listens, understands exactly what you need, and then just makes it happen. No jargon, no overwhelm, no "that's not possible." Just a CRM that finally works the way your business works.

Big shoutout to Bhuv for another incredible result.
