Alan Jones, the founder of AML, had a lengthy military career that has subsequently been followed by a commercial career. This makes AML Advisory an ideal partner for organisations wishing to engage with Government organisations (Federal, State and Local) and within the Defence industry space. Of key relevance to assisting commercial organisations, AML has been involved with supporting major Austr

alian defence primes such as BAE Systems and Thales with the development of their capital acquisition and sustainment programs to support defence capability. AML has also assisted tier 2 and 3 primes in similar roles. This support has related to providing advice on strategic and operational business matters as they affect the tendering process as well as the transition into service and sustainment responsibilities. More recently, AML has held a key role with the Defence Project Office responsible for the revitalisation of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Defence (CBRND) capability. With this project, AML was engaged to provide a range of logistical support roles, including being the Strategic Logistics Adviser covering all aspects of strategic and operational business matters, including the development of logistical support plans. Great to be a part of Small Business Month and promoting the 448,000 small businesses that drive the Australian economy. Last night, AML participated in the Meet the Buyer event promoted by Cairns Regional Council and Cairns Chamber of Commerce. The event was incredibly well organised and supported, including:

⁃ 280 connections meetings with SME’s
⁃ 110 SME’s
⁃ 14 booth holders

Congratulations, South East Veterans Cricket Club on all teams making finals and two teams in grand finals this weekend! This is an extremely impressive result considering the difficulties faced this year with full credit to the boys for their resilience and determination.

Our Managing Director, Alan Jones will be competing in the 1st XIs Grand Final away this weekend against Geelong at their home ground. We wish him and the team good luck and urge you to come and cheer him on if you are in the area.
