Managing safety for a massive crowd is all about the work done behind the scenes.

Recently, the MS Group Australia team had the privilege of providing comprehensive security services for the spectacular Firelight Festival 2026 at Melbourne’s Docklands.

With over 100,000 attendees flocking to the waterfront to enjoy dazzling light installations, fire performers, and a massive 90-metre laser show, keeping the energy high and the environment safe required seamless, top-tier coordination.

Our team delivered end-to-end security operations across the entire event precinct, including:

Crowd Control: Maintaining safe movement and managing high-density zones so families, couples, and friends could navigate the festival smoothly.

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Support: Monitoring the vibrant pop-up bars and hospitality hubs to ensure safe, compliant, and responsible enjoyment.

Event Control Centre Support: Serving as the central point of coordination, actively communicating across multi-agency channels to handle real-time logistical challenges instantly.
