When I first started, I didn’t know anything about social media or online business.

I wasn’t confident.
I didn’t know what to post.
And honestly, the idea of putting myself online felt uncomfortable.

But here’s something many people don’t realise…

You don’t always have to show your face.

There are different ways to create content online.

Some people use voiceovers.
Some share screen recordings.
Some create simple educational posts.
Some start completely faceless.

The goal isn’t to become an influencer.

The goal is to learn skills, build confidence, and create opportunities for yourself.

Your first video doesn’t need to be perfect.
Your first post doesn’t need to be perfect.

You just need to take the first step.

The confidence comes later. 💕

A few years ago, I had absolutely no idea about branding, content creation, or social media marketing.

I wasn’t a marketer.
I wasn’t an influencer.
I was simply someone with a story, a willingness to learn, and a desire to create something different for my family.

Today, messages like these still stop me in my tracks. 💖

Not because they compliment my content…
But because they remind me how far I’ve come.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned on this journey is:

✨ Your story is your brand.
✨ Your life is your content.

People don’t connect with perfection.
They connect with authenticity.

Everything I’ve shared over the last few years has come from my own experiences, lessons, challenges, wins, and growth.

The greatest gift isn’t the income.

It’s knowing that something I’ve learned along the way can inspire someone else to believe in themselves and take their next step.

I grew through this community.
Now I get the privilege of giving back.

And for that, I am truly grateful. ❤️

Ohhh wow… what a way to start the week!

This morning, while I was helping one of my business partners, I received not one… but THREE payments.

Together, they were nearly the same as what I used to earn in a week as an accountant. 🤯

But the money isn’t even the best part.

The best part is how different my Mondays look today.

3 years ago:
❌ Monday stress
❌ Early drop-offs and after-school care
❌ Rushing through the day
❌ Counting down to Thursday payday

Today:
✅ Peaceful mornings
✅ More cuddles with my kids
✅ Time for meditation and exercise
✅ Making fresh breakfasts and lunches
✅ Helping others grow
✅ Getting paid while creating value

Did this happen overnight?

Absolutely not.

I simply took the first step.

Many people assume that if a business operates online, it must somehow be different from a traditional business.

The reality is that 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 — 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 — 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬.

✅ They register properly.
✅ They keep financial records.
✅ They report their income.
✅ They lodge tax returns and BAS statements.
✅ They pay their tax obligations.

When I started my business in 2023, I operated under an ABN.

As the business grew and my income exceeded the GST registration threshold, I registered a company and became GST compliant.

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚 𝐁𝐀𝐒 (𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭) 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐱𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞.

The payment shown in this post is my BAS payment for one quarter: $5,621.

Why am I sharing this?

Not to impress anyone.

But because I believe more people should understand what a genuine business looks like behind the scenes.

Most people only see social media posts, photos, and success stories.

What they don't see are the registrations, compliance requirements, bookkeeping, reporting, and tax obligations that come with running a real business.

Building a business isn't just about making money.

I'm grateful for the opportunity this business has given me over the last three years, and I'm proud to operate it the right way. 💜
