This year we had the honour of designing this year’s NAIDOC Week campaign with our retainer friends at Clothing The Gaps, celebrating 50 years of strength, vision and legacy.

To mark the milestone, we created a design that gave space to all 50 years of NAIDOC themes, drawing inspiration from vintage band tour tees to create something bold, wearable and rooted in story.

With the 2025 theme, The Next Generation, front and centre, the campaign is being rolled out across tees, hoodies, in-store decals, Melbourne Central activations, posters and a word search for the kids.

We see you. Yes, you. Staring at your computer for the fifth time today, wondering why nothing looks how it does in your head and everything feels like chaos.

It's a familiar loop. Things get rushed. Freelancers go quiet. One launch looks great, the next feels slapped together. You end up tweaking everything yourself- even the stuff you hired someone else to do.

With Toolakea turning four this week, I've been thinking a lot about what it actually takes to get out of that cycle. It wasn’t a rebrand or a new offer that changed everything. It was support. Reliable, consistent, in-the-loop creative support that made the day-to-day feel manageable and, dare we say, even fun again.

There were sacrifices along the way (I'm talking credit cards, overdue rent, “do I actually want to do this?” kind of days), but building the right foundations changed everything. And that’s what we offer.

So if you're at that point where things feel scattered, or you're constantly doing too much, you’re not alone. But you don’t have to keep doing it like this.
