Hi, I’m Claudia 👋

After graduating with a Bachelor of Strategic Communications, I started my journey in Issues and Crisis Management. From there, I’ve worked across various sectors including infrastructure and government communications for over 5 years 〰️

I created Sienko Communications to increase access to communication services and identify meaningful opportunities for small businesses or projects. My goal is to create, inspire and influence messaging that creates impact 💫

I love my friends, family and everything nature 🌱 I have a passion for reading and writing – yes, that includes proofreading which some may find 😴

I enjoy w**e and travelling (let’s just not mention the last year or so 🙃) and growth in every form. Whether it's building brands, or watching others rise above a challenge – I’m all for it 😙

A media release or press release is a communications tool used to provide media outlets with a news story and further elevate a brand/business💡📰

7 things to remember:
- report on a significant story, event or milestone.
- attention grabbing headline.
- timely and relevant to the media outlet.
- uses a specific style of formatting and should be around an A4 page.
- written in third person.
- uses statistics, facts, quotes and key messages. No fluff.
- often written by communications and PR specialists to increase credibility, exposure, publicity and sales.

Ever come across a piece of writing that's too wordy, or too sophisticated and thought what is even going on?

We have this weird, trained perception that long sentences are the best way to prove our case. But the downside of that is losing your key message and further confusing the reader.

The most effective form of communication is hard hitting, straight to the point, concise and easy to understand ✔
