This week has been a hard week, and I know that market has been slow, but with the slow take-up of services, I have been forced to relook at my direction, with the possibility of closing down in around 2 months. Why might you ask?

My service is specialised, maybe too specialised, and maybe I am not the right size, but I provide a point cloud digital measuring service - for designers and architects, plus Tenancy fitout managers, plus a whole lot of other people that want to see what the asset looks like - and I use a digital LiDAR scanning process, that captures the space in 3D, creates a Digital Twin and then from the Digital Twin, I can provide as-built drawings – Schematic, 3Drevit and 2D AutoCAD drawings – accuracy to 5-10mm

So, it is only 1 scan, 1 site visit. And you would have access to the digital twin 24/7, what do you think? Is it worthwhile? I thought it was, as the problem I solve is saving time and cost - imagine if you had to arrange a site visit, run around with your laser Disto tape, and then do the drawings, and if you missed something, you would need to book in a time to go back to site take more photos and remeasure.

Today I was at the Interior Fitout Association lunch which was at the Melbourne Zoo.
Great to see some new faces and also older ones, and such a diverse age group.
