What an incredible day at our AsiaX Circle Pickleball event at D**k & Drive 🏓✨

More than just a game, it was a space where people came together to connect, compete, and build meaningful relationships both on and off the court.

From friendly rallies to genuine conversations in between matches, it was amazing to see new connections being formed and existing ones deepen. We wrapped up the day with a group lunch, where the conversations continued sharing ideas, stories, and plenty of laughs beyond the game.

A big thank you to .au for partnering with us and providing all attendees with complimentary teas 🍵 keeping everyone refreshed throughout the day.

Last Sunday, we were proud to stand alongside the incredible community at Vietnam Cultural Day, hosted by . 🇻🇳✨

As a community partner, AsiaX Circle was honoured to support this special celebration marking Vietnamese Women’s Day and the 1 year anniversary of Global Viet Women. The day brought together families, creators, entrepreneurs and community leaders to celebrate Vietnamese heritage, culture and the voices shaping the Vietnamese Australian story today.

From the vibrant cultural exhibition with over 25 exhibitors, to traditional games, author talks, street food and the beautiful Áo Dài show featuring families and kids, the Drill Hall was filled with energy, pride and connection.

Vietnamese women have long been the keepers of language, culture and community. Events like this remind us how powerful it is to honour those roots while building bridges across generations and the diaspora.

Thank you to for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful day, and to everyone who came along to celebrate. And a special shout out to & for all their hard work on this event!

When I was asked to design the AsiaX Circle logo, I didn’t just make one and call it a day, I ended up creating multiple versions and sharing them with the team to see what felt right and what didn’t.
When I finally showed this one, the first reaction was honestly “is that a maths symbol?” which was fair because at first glance it does look abstract and a bit unfamiliar.

But once I explained it, everything started to make sense. The shape is actually made up of the A for Asia, the X in the middle and the C for Circle, all blended into one continuous form so it feels connected rather than separate.

The small sprout at the top represents growth, creativity and the idea that this community is still developing and evolving together.

There were a lot of rough drafts, rejected ideas and small adjustments along the way, but this version felt right because it was not loud or obvious and instead invited you to look twice and understand it a little more each time.

What started as something that looked like a maths symbol ended up becoming a symbol of connection, creativity and growth for AsiaX Circle.

Honestly, the timing couldn’t have been better. With a whole week of rain, Sydney finally gave us some actual sunshine for our Lunar New Year picnic.

We had dumplings, red packets going around, and people just sitting on the grass talking and laughing. Nothing fancy, just really good food and really good company.

It felt like such a nice way to slow down and celebrate together. A proper little reset for the new year. Grateful for days like this 🧧🥟☀️

Spending Lunar New Year around the table with good food and good people just always feels right. It was so nice meeting everyone, having real conversations, and sharing a few too many dim sums.

We’re bringing the AXC spirit to Hyde Park for 2026! To keep the Lunar New Year celebrations rolling, we’re heading outdoors for an after-work picnic to soak up the last of the summer golden hour.

Behind the scenes of our AsiaX Circle Strategy Day!

We spent the day with our new crew planning out what the rest of the year is going to look like for AsiaX Circle. That meant talking through new event ideas, possible collaborations, and the kind of experiences we actually want to create for our community.

A lot of what people see is the final event. What they don’t see is the planning that happens before it. The long conversations, the back and forth over ideas, the tables covered in notes, and the moments where one idea turns into something better.

This session made one thing really clear to us. We don’t just want to host events. We want to build something that feels meaningful for the people who come along, where culture, creativity and community genuinely come together.

We have some big plans for the rest of the year. The events are going to be more intentional, more interactive, and more collaborative than what we’ve done before. If you’ve been to one of our events already, you’re going to notice the difference. If you haven’t, this is probably the year to start.

There is a lot coming, and we’re genuinely excited to share it with you soon!
