If you are thinking about getting your books sorted and you are registered for GST, a tip from me to you is to make sure your bookkeeper is registered (www.tpb.gov.au/public-register). A registered BAS Agent is legally authorised to prepare and lodge your BAS, assist you with PayDay Super, handle your GST transactions and assist with payroll. An unregistered bookkeeper is not.
