How to care for your Devil's Ivy

Light
Devil's Ivy is highly hardy to most light conditions, but prefers indirect light and part to full shaded areas. Some minimal direct sun is fine. Also, the plant can still thrive in a darker space, but grow slower and need less water.

Water
Light watering. Water the plant when half of the soil dries out. Ideal is to water once or twice a week in the peak of summer, and once a week in the winter.

Humidity
Although Devil's Ivy enjoys muggy weather, it does well with low humidity which is appropriate to grow in Melbourne. It is unnecessary to mist, but can be done once a week if you have time.

Devil's Ivy is one of the top indoor plants. Firstly because plant owners can easily shape and train their vines in the way they want, train up on the wall or across the surface, for example. Its aerial roots will not damage the wall because it only digs into moist materials like moss or soil. Secondly, Devil's Ivy is easy to grow and almost impossible to be killed. It can be left alone for a few weeks without any care.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR MINI MONSTERA

☀️ LIGHT
Like most tropical plants Mini Monsteras like bright, indirect sunlight. This means near or in a very bright window, but not directly in the sun’s rays.
💧WATER

Never let the soil get completely dry. When the top two inches of soil are dry, add water to the soil until it starts to drain out the bottom of the pot. Then empty the drainage tray immediately.
☁️ HUMIDITY
They can tolerate normal indoor humidity levels. You should set up a pebble tray and regular misting will be beneficial.
