A huge boost for children and sports clubs in Victoria today as the government released the news of their new funding initiative to get kids active again . This is exactly the update state needs right now after nearly a full year without community sport.

➡️ $200 vouchers for about 100,000 children to use towards organised sport totalling $21m
➡️ $24m towards schools, and partnerships with start-ups to explore how technology can help to get teens moving
➡️ Purchase of equipment, running sport and physical activity programs

Deputy Premier and Education Minister James Merlino said "This is about supporting kids getting back into their local clubs, supporting sporting clubs getting back on their feet and supporting parents with the cost of living."
