The Department of Home Affairs has confirmed an increase in Subclass 407 nomination refusals.

Where a nomination is refused, applicants may receive a Section 57 Natural Justice letter with an opportunity to respond. In cases involving GTE concerns, the visa may be refused without a prior Section 57 letter.
