At VETASSESS 2026 in Melbourne, one of our own shared a story that speaks for so many of us: arriving with a degree in hand, hitting a wall of red tape, and refusing to wait on the sidelines. From casual worker to Team Leader, from Recognition of Prior Learning to a Bachelor's degree, this is a story of resilience built right here in our community.
This is the same fight behind our Strengthening Communities project. Every workshop, every conversation, every partnership is about making sure no one's skills, story or dignity get locked behind a closed door.
