WIMBLEDON x FORTNITE

Seems like the most bizarre collaboration but it works.

With the intention of reaching a younger demographic, Wimbledon created an experience on Fortnite called Race to Wimbledon. Players are tasked with running, driving, flying or using their best parkour moves to get through Wimbledon Village and arrive at the Centre Court as quickly as they can. Throughout the experience, players will virtually pass iconic London landmarks like Big Ben and the London Eye and dodge obstacles in the form of tennis rackets and strawberries.

Fortnite has emerged as the go-to choice for brands that want to connect with younger audiences in the metaverse and capitalize on its widespread popularity and interactive nature.

"Specialized compliance junction"

Yes, the above is a sentence!

Specialized has unleashed a new-fangled tech called Compliance Junction to give you the smoothest ride since your mum's Toorak tractor. It's like a secret handshake between the seat stays and top tube, allowing the frame to flex and absorb bumps like a sponge.

The technology is built into the frame of the Sirrus X range of bikes, which also includes a Future Shock suspension system on the front end. The Future Shock system provides 20mm of suspension travel, while Compliance Junction adds an additional 6mm of travel to the rear of the bike, resulting in a smoother ride on rough terrain.

“It’s not rocket science”, is a phrase I’ve been guilty of using as a coach. However, in this case it is, quite literally!
