🔴 1971 FORD FALCON XY GT REPLICA

Finished in striking Track Red with black GT stripes and full GT-style interior, this beautifully built XY captures the unmistakable stance of Ford’s legendary GT. Powered by a rebuilt 351ci Cleveland V8, paired with a four-speed AOD automatic transmission and 3.55 nine-inch limited-slip differential, it also features an XF power steering conversion and modern air-conditioning. With its shaker bonnet scoop, GT instrumentation and impressive body and paintwork, this is a stunning tribute to one of Australia’s most desirable muscle cars.

🔵 1970 FORD XY FAIRMONT GS RALLYE PACK

A genuine factory-optioned GS Rallye Pack Fairmont, built in December 1970 and originally finished in True Blue with black trim. Documented by an accompanying Ford verification letter, this example was factory ordered with the desirable Option 48 GS Rallye Pack, 302ci V8, T-bar automatic, power steering and limited-slip differential. Now featuring a mildly upgraded 351ci Cleveland V8, GT-style shaker bonnet scoop, orange GS stripes and 12-slot wheels, it has recently undergone a full body and paintwork restoration. A fantastic combination of genuine GS heritage and classic XY muscle car appeal.

⚪ 1967 FORD XR FALCON 500 PRO STREET

An tough custom build, this Polar White XR Falcon 500 combines classic 1960s styling with serious V8 performance. At its heart sits a professionally built 418ci Clevor stroker V8 featuring CHI alloy heads, Holley Sniper EFI and an extensive list of high-performance components. Backed by a fully built C4 automatic, Moser nine-inch rear end, coil-over front suspension and Wilwood disc brakes, this formidable Falcon is a street and strip monster with style. Finished with a refurbished Turquoise interior and a tough Pro Street stance, this is one seriously impressive machine.

Chicane Auctions’ October line-up features three special Toranas, each their own stories — a rare Holden promotional LC XU-1, a 1973 LJ XU-1 and a restored SL/R 5000 V8.

🟣 1970 HOLDEN LC TORANA GTR XU-1

Finished in factory Plum Dinger, this early Adelaide-built XU-1 is widely documented as Holden’s original brochure and promotional car. Featuring the 3100X engine specification, triple Stromberg carburettors and a rare early cylinder head with cast “XU1” identification, its engine has been rebuilt and enlarged to approximately 192ci. Featured in Australian Muscle Car magazine, this example brings together striking colour, early XU-1 history and significant promotional provenance.

🏁 1973 HOLDEN LJ TORANA GTR XU-1

Built in Adelaide in April 1973 and finished in factory-specified Sable Silver, this example features 202ci six-cylinder with XU-1 head, triple 175 Stromberg carburettors, M20 four-speed manual and limited-slip differential. Reportedly restored in the early 2000s, it presents with a black leather-trimmed interior and the correct large-capacity XU-1 fuel tank. Previously a Classics for a Cause prize car, it is accompanied by an ICAARS report identifying it as a genuine XU-1.

🟢 1975 HOLDEN LH TORANA SL/R 5000
Finished in factory Barbados Green with a fully renewed interior, this SL/R 5000 delivers unmistakable Holden V8 presence. Factory specified with the L31 308ci V8, M21 four-speed manual and GU4 3.08:1 rear axle, it retains the classic appearance of the square-headlight front, black exterior detailing and factory-size 13-inch wheels. A comprehensive restoration, excellent body and paintwork and near-unmarked interior make this a beautifully presented example.
