Thanks International Cool Climate Wine Show for sharing Clowns in the Rain story!
An inspiration new winery in the Yarra Valley, run and owned by a long-time supporter of the International Cool Climate Wine Show, Dmitri Lazariuc, the winery “Clowns in the Rain”.
Clowns in the Rain, was born from the wisdom and passion, that Dmitri had accumulated over his lifetime, which includes more than two decades, in Australia, which saw him take on formal Degree in Winemaking , which he started after arriving in Adelaide, from Moldova, at the age of 17, at the esteemed University of Adelaide and an MBA with a Wine Business Major, which he completed in 2013. Dmitri’s star also shone brightly while playing a pivotal role in the success of SOUMAH – a winery that has taken home numerous trophies and medals from the International Cool Climate Wine Show.
Moldova, Dmitri’s birthplace, is an economically modest yet viticulturally rich Eastern European country. From a tender age, Dmitri immersed himself in the intricate art of winemaking, working diligently at his father's winery and gaining a profound appreciation for the dedication woven into each bottle of quality wine.
“Clowns in the Rain “ is Dmitri’s “love letter” to his discerning customers. It shows his love for the craft, and an unwavering commitment to producing exceptional wines, in a winery that is proudly his.
