You can’t teach an old dog (or pup) new tricks if they don’t want to learn.

Important steps to coaching include: creating relationships and requesting as well as receiving permission.

Same goes with unsolicited advice. If they didn’t ask for it, chances are you will hit a wall.

Even if you’re right.

Often people know exactly what they need help with. So, let’s not start by telling, start by building a connection and see where it takes you.
