The assessment is for persons seeking recognition as being eligible for membership with Engineers Australia who does not hold engineering qualifications that are already accredited or recognized by Engineers Australia examples include:
1. Candidates holding Australian engineering qualifications that have not been accredited or approved by Engineers Australia.
2. Candidates holding engineering qualifications rom overseas countries which are not recognized under the Washington,
Sydney, or Dublin Accords or through a Memorandum of Understanding for the formal recognition of qualifications.
3. Candidates not holding post-graduate engineering qualifications while the undergraduate degree is engineering-related.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a report that is to be written to the Australian Computer Society (ACS) if you are willing to migrate to Australia and want to proceed with your career in ICT related fields but do not hold a degree in ICT qualification or come from the unrelated background. Thus, ACS Skill Assessment provides a really good opportunity for the candidates to demonstrate their acquired knowledge and skills through the RPL report even if they do not have enough ICT qualifications or are not from an ICT background. CDR is required to assess your skill as per your education. The main role of CDR comes into play when the applicant is an aspirant of Australian PR. CDR is required by Engineers from any Engineering backgrounds who aren’t accredited by Sydney, Washington, and Dublin Accord, apart from those who have Australian degrees they won’t require CDR.
A complete CDR includes:
Three Career Episodes (CE), one Continuous Professional Development (CPD), and one Summary Statement (SS)

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐄): it contains the information of a project report done by the applicant which can be written based on his projects done in academic or work-based.
The career episode has 4 different parts
Ø Introduction (100 Words)
Ø Background (200-500 Words)
Ø Personal Engineering Activity (500-1000 Words)
Ø Summary (50-100 Words)

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐏𝐃):Tabular presentation of his/her timeline of professional journey.

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦) : It is a tabular presentation of a summary of competency of all 3 CEs along with appropriate mapping of their skills from each career episode.
