Conceived as a calm, enduring retreat Portsea Treetop House celebrates sea glimpses and treetop outlooks.
Sandy toned quartzite is expressed as sculptural monolithic forms while finely resolved junctions emphasise craftsmanship and a sense of permanence.
The restraint allows the soft blue and earthy toned palette to anchor the interior while reinforcing its coastal context.

We’re honoured to receive a commendation at the Victorian Architecture Awards for Northcote Townhouses last Friday evening!

A collaborative project amongst friends and industry peers, Northcote Townhouses is a project shaped by context, restraint and commitment to enduring medium-density housing.

Northcote Townhouses is a reminder that well designed medium - density can be both financially achievable and architecturally meaning.

Thank you to the jury for this recognition ✨

Northcote Townhouses feel generous in spirit, thoughtfully stitched into their neighbourhood, while offering a sense of retreat.
The townhouses feel like private sanctuaries - light, bright, open and textural - detached from the street yet supporting moments of informal exchange between neighbours.
Prioritising liveability, longevity and connection, the project presents a grounded, imaginative alternative to conventional density - one rooted in care, collaboration and place. 🍂
