This year's NAIDOC Week theme, 50 Years of Deadly, marks a significant milestone —five decades since an entirely Indigenous-led NAIDOC committee was formed.

NAIDOC stands for the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee, and is a week that recognises the strength, achievements, leadership and cultural pride of First Nations peoples.

ANZ acknowledges First Nations peoples, including customers, colleagues, leaders, entrepreneurs and community members, whose vision and determination have shaped the social, cultural and economic landscape of Australia. We honour their long history of trade and economic leadership , and we remain committed to fuelling the fire of First Nations economic self-determination through our 2035 First Nations Strategy.
