Last Wednesday designed an event where Founders, businesses and investors could connect over international brews. While learning and creating business expansion opportunities. This event cultivated real conversations, uncovered business expansion in China, and building international connections over a curated coffee tasting.

Over unique brews from across the APAC region, Albert Yang (Cross-border Media Strategist; ex-The Walt Disney Company APAC) expertly unpacked the market shift in China. For all the data, platforms, and mobile-first complexity, his core message landed simple and true:

The true strength of China’s digital ecosystem isn't just cutting-edge technology it’s emotional connection at scale.

New winners are direct-to-consumer brands that leverage social commerce (Douyin, WeChat, RED) to build trust and tell the best stories. It's about precision, not just presence.

Thank you to the founders and investors for bringing the energy. And of course this event wouldn't be possible without for the venue and thanks to Bridge360, for co-creating this event with such great brews and people. The connection was truly the point.

Our recent community event on AI had attendees admitting it changed their entire perspective.

It’s exactly the reason we do what we do.

In case you missed it, UC recently hosted “Growing with Sales & Marketing Powered by AI”

A massive thank you to our amazing speakers .lo, and Yavuz Uragun for helping make this happen. I really enjoyed our conversation.

And our panelists proved that professionals and enterprises are capable of growing effectively with AI… But they also showed how.

Beyond the hype, buzzwords, tools… the conversation covered:
⚡ How to drive outsized returns with sales and marketing systems that harness AI
⚡ Automating your paid ads, ai for effective content and building smarter automated funnels
⚡ Protecting yourself from privacy, and cybersecurity issues

The AI movement is not about replacing humans, but helping them reclaim time, focus, and creativity.

So many businesses and startups we have spoken to have said...

”I wish I could automate that”

But they feel stressed, lost or are afraid of wasting days or weeks figuring it out alone.

If you’ve ever thought or felt the same. You’ll love what's next.
We’re planning on hosting a small, practical, and interactive, no bs workshop to help you:

⚙️ Build a simple, yet powerful AI-powered sales or marketing workflow of your choice

🧩 Use up to ~4 tools and ~9 steps

⏱️ Set it up a in under 40 minutes

💡 Learn directly from SaaS and AI experts guiding you step-by-step

We’re limiting the event to the first 40 people.

👉 To jump on the waitlist comment “I’m in” and we’ll send you the details.
[AI marketing, AI sales, AI automation, business growth, community-led business support, migrant-friendly growth spaces, founder development programs, how to automate marketing with AI tools, AI-powered sales workflows for SMEs, using AI to streamline paid ads and content, practical AI workshop for business growth, simple AI workflows for founders and teams]

Ever tried building something in Australia, while your heart is still back home or ambitions are bigger than Australia?

That’s what Founding Across Borders was all about.

Last week, we brought together cracked founders who know what it means to live between worlds and expand businesses across borders while giving back to their families and communities.

Our amazing speakers from , Iain Shearer from and from .ai shared stories, insights and tactics on building businesses that connect purpose with growth, across Australia, Indonesia and the Asia Pacific.

This event made it easier and more for business to build and expand internationally, especially in Asia Pacific.

We’re proud to create migrant friendly spaces where business, culture and impact can coexist beyond local borders.

Thank you to our speakers, Eli D. for MCing, everyone that showed up in our community, and our partners Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA Victoria) and Uncommon Collective for making the night a success.

If you'd like to join us at our next event on using AI to supercharge your Marketing or Sales on the 30th October.

On 27th Sep night’s “Humans Who Hire” session was next level. Here’s a quick take on how 4 decision makers + 4 companies + 12 real job openings turned into opportunity:

What went down:

- We heard exactly what these leaders look for red flags, green flags, the works.
- They shared real strategies to reach out (LinkedIn, email, voice).
- Practical tips on sharpening your resume + cover letter.
- And the highlight speed interviews after the Q&A: 2 minutes with each panelist if you were ready to jump in.

This was more than a panel. It was a bridge between job seekers and decision makers. Between potential and possibility.

If you were there: what’s a moment you walked away from thinking, “Oh, I can do that differently now”? Drop it below 👇

What if you had the chance to attend a retreat crossed with a conference, along with 30 plus impact & tech founders, creators and leaders in 2 houses? You get something unforgettable.

Over four days last weekend on the Mornington Peninsula, we co-lived, co-worked, and co-created. Days filled with deep work sessions, workshops, and founder circles. Nights of shared dinners, mixers, and spontaneous side quests. And in between the kind of serendipity you can’t plan for.

This retreat wasn’t just an event it was a village. A place where innovation collided with creativity, where ideas sparked into opportunities, and where friendships formed that will last well beyond the weekend.

On 19th September, we explored Melbourne’s thriving startup ecosystem with founders, migrants, and community builders uncovering opportunities for innovation, investment, and collaboration.

At Stop 1 (Melbourne Connect)

We discovered a world-class innovation precinct at the University of Melbourne. Phil Callaghan, Director of Operations, shared how research, commercialisation, and coworking spaces are creating pathways for founders to thrive.

During Stop 2 (Stone & Chalk)

We heard from Michelle Vu (LaunchVic), Andrea Tsui (Breakthrough Victoria), and Andrew Rowse (City of Melbourne) on government-backed pathways, grants, and investment opportunities. The tour showcased how public support and innovation hubs connect to fuel founder growth.

Then at Stop 3 (Inspire9)

We dove into fundraising insights with Usman Iftikhar (Backbone Partners), Arjun Agarwal (Innaam), Devendra Singh (Dev Singh Show), and Safi Heidari (Maxinify). The panel unpacked venture capital, private equity, and angel investment alongside migrant-friendly startup programs shaping inclusive opportunities.

🍴The journey wrapped up with a closing lunch + networking, where founders connected directly with VCs, angels, and ecosystem partners.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and the ecosystem players who opened their doors. Together, we’re building pathways where innovation + community + opportunity collide.
