We are pleased to share that we have appointed Jordan Dunstone as our National Operations Manager at Fertool Australia.

This marks a significant step forward as we continue to grow and strengthen our operations across multiple sites throughout Australia.

With over 12 years’ experience in sports turf management, Jordan brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise. Most recently, he served as Course Superintendent at Heritage Golf & Country Club, overseeing a prestigious 36-hole facility and delivering multiple PGA Tour of Australasia events, including The Heritage Classic, to the highest standard.

Throughout his career, Jordan has demonstrated:
* Strong leadership of large, diverse grounds teams
* A proven ability to deliver tournament-level playing conditions
*Extensive expertise in irrigation systems, machinery, and turf health
and a disciplined approach to budgeting, planning, and long-term course development

He has consistently overseen large-scale operations, led high-performing teams, and delivered exceptional outcomes across complex, multi-course environments.

This appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to:

Gardiners Run Golf Course Pro-Am tomorrow, and the Fertool team at Gardiners are still hard at work preparing the course.

These guys never fail to impress with their attitude and work ethic. I’m pretty sure they would be keen to go all night to make sure everything is perfect. 🤣🤣🤣

So it begins. ⛳️

Today marked the first major step in the restoration process at Beresfield Golf Course as we stripped away the top 150mm of thatch and organic matter from the first of all the greens that will be resurfaced.

This is the foundation of something truly special. Exciting things are happening, and we can’t wait to share the transformation as it unfolds. 🏌️‍♂️🌱⛳️

A New Chapter Begins at Beresfield Golf Course

This week, we proudly welcomed our brand-new Beresfield team to the Fertool family — Superintendent Ben Norris and Apprentice Koby Warland. Please join us in giving them a very warm welcome 👏

What a whirlwind start to 2026 for Fertool Australia

We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve secured our first interstate maintenance contract — a major milestone for our team and a reflection of the systems, people, and passion behind everything we do.

Our partnership with Clublinks continues to strengthen, and we’re excited to officially commence work at Beresfield Golf Course located on the outskirts of Newcastle, NSW.

The public course has been closed for several months following significant stormwater and sewer infrastructure works, and while there’s plenty ahead of us, we’re ready for the challenge. The greens are currently soft, with extreme levels of thatch, and under pressure from disease, pests, nematodes, and bird damage — but with the right program, expertise, and care, we’re confident in what lies ahead.

Encouragingly, the fairways are showing strong coverage of common couch and kikuyu, and we see enormous potential for these surfaces to flourish over the coming summer.

This course has faced some difficult periods, but Clublinks Management, together with Fertool, is fully committed to restoring Beresfield Golf Course to a standard the local community can once again be proud of. With exciting development plans already in motion, this is just the beginning. As of today, we are beginning a greens resurfacing project, converting the practice, 2nd and 4th greens to Seashore Paspalum turf species.

We’re honoured to be part of this journey and look forward to sharing more of the transformation with you.
