Well… how have we survived all this Fire energy? 🔥

We’ve had such a strong Fire year, followed by some very strong Fire months, and just when you thought we might finally get a little break… think again!

The Rooster Month begins on 7 September, bringing us Yin Fire sitting on the Metal Rooster.

Yes… more Fire! 🔥

I have to admit; I’m personally a little over all this Fire energy. I’m sure some of you are feeling the same!

Over the past few months, I’ve noticed so many Fire and Metal themes showing up around me, with family, clients and in everyday life. Fire can bring intensity, emotions and inflammation, while Metal is connected with the lungs, skin and our ability to let go.

But Fire isn’t only about challenges. It’s also about love, happiness, celebration and joy. I’ve seen proposals, weddings, pregnancies, babies being born and so many beautiful reasons to celebrate. ❤️

It’s a lovely reminder that where there is Yin, there will always be Yang. Even when things feel challenging, something wonderful can be happening at the same time.

And speaking of wonderful things… let’s talk about LOVE! ❤️

The Rooster is known as a Romance Flower or Peach Blossom, and because the Horse in our annual chart is also a Romance Flower, we have a little double dose of love happening this month.

If you were born in the Year or Day of the Monkey, Rat or Dragon, the Rooster is your Romance Flower or Peach Blossom.

So, whether you’re looking for romance or simply wanting to bring more love and kindness into your life, this is a beautiful month to open your heart a little more.

Now we have another “double up” happening with our Flying Stars.

The monthly Flying Stars duplicate the yearly stars, creating a Fu Yin configuration, amplifying the energies throughout the home.

The sectors I would be paying more attention to are the South, Southwest, West and Northwest, while the Southeast, Centre and East are more supportive and prosperous.

Make the most of those prosperous areas by spending time there and try not to disturb the challenging sectors unnecessarily.

As I always say… where there is Yin, there is Yang.

Yin Fire reminds me of a candle flame. 🕯️ It may be small, but it can light up the darkest room.

This can bring things into the light — secrets being revealed, hidden situations becoming visible and people in positions of power coming under greater scrutiny.

Yin Fire can also bring themes of explosive energy, nuclear developments, volcanic activity, airline disruptions and sudden events, so September certainly doesn’t look boring!

The month begins with Yang Wood Monkey, which can represent leadership, media and people in positions of power. With Wood not particularly strengthened this month, we could see some changes or shifts involving those in authority and in the media.

So what can we do with all this Fire?

Laugh more. 😂
Find something to be grateful for.
Spend time with people you love.
Celebrate the little things.
And most importantly — be kind. ❤️

We may not be able to turn down the Fire this month, but we can choose how we work with it.

Let’s use it for warmth, love, laughter, creativity and connection.

Wishing you all a beautiful September filled with love, happiness and lots of beautiful moments.

And remember… spread the love! ❤️

🍀 Move Your Bed, Change Your Luck
Are you willing to create the change?

In Classical Feng Shui, the position of your bed is an important consideration when creating a bedroom that feels calm, balanced and supportive.

🛏️ Your bedhead is ideally placed against a solid wall, providing stability and support behind you. It is also beneficial to position your bed so you can see the bedroom door, giving you a sense of security while you sleep.

🚪 If the bedroom door opens directly towards the bedhead, this is known as Sha Qi and can create a more unsettled energy in the bedroom. You may experience restless sleep or simply feel that you are not fully supported or grounded in life.

Sometimes, you don’t need to completely renovate your bedroom or buy new furniture.

Simply changing the position of your bed can create a different flow of energy and a more balanced sleeping environment.

✨ Small changes in your home can create big impacts in your life, if you’re willing to create the change.

This is just one basic principle of Classical Feng Shui. The direction, placement and energy of the bedroom should also be considered as part of a complete Feng Shui assessment.

So, take a look at your bed… could a small change make a big difference?

It warms my heart to receive beautiful messages like this from my clients, especially when they have experienced challenges on their journey to falling pregnant. ❤️

In Classical Feng Shui, we have specific fertility formulas that can be used to support couples on their journey to conception. We also consider timing, bed placement and strategic activations within the home to help enhance supportive energy.
When a baby arrives, we can also look at the most beneficial bedroom for the child, taking into consideration their birth year and gender, to create a harmonious and supportive environment from the very beginning. ✨

A huge congratulations to my beautiful clients! 💕 I’m so happy for you both and look forward to one day meeting your little blessing.

Feng Shui works by changing and enhancing the energy within your home. 🏡✨

If you’re looking to create more supportive energy in your home, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I’d love to help you understand how Classical Feng Shui can work with your home and your goals.

✨ Look around your home: do you have strong support behind you, greater activity on the left, calm on the right, and an open, welcoming space at the front?

Your environment is the foundation of your Feng Shui. 🌿

It’s very rare to see so many volcanic eruptions happening at once.
From an energetic perspective, this can be connected to the strong Fire energy of both the year and the month.
We’re also living through 20 years of Fire energy, which began in 2024 and continues through 2044 , known as Age 9.
With such powerful Fire energy influencing this period, perhaps it’s not so surprising to see an increase in volcanic activity around the world

In the last 48 hours there has been volcanic activity in Mexico, Colombia , Italy, Japan , Indonesia and Guatemala..

In my yearly presentation for the Year of the Fire Horse, I mentioned that we may begin to hear about, and perhaps even witness hidden news and activity surrounding UFOs and extraterrestrial phenomena. 🔥🐎👽

This may only be the beginning… with much more yet to unfold.

We are now moving into the second half of the Fire Horse Year as we welcome the Yang Fire Monkey Month (7 August – 7 September).

In Chinese Astrology, the Monkey month marks the beginning of Autumn in the Chinese Calander, a season where the energy naturally starts to turn inward. It’s a time to slow down just a little, reflect on where you’ve been, reassess your priorities and make any adjustments before the year races to the finish line.

The first half of the Fire Horse Year has certainly kept us on our toes! It’s been fast, exciting and full of change. We’ve seen incredible advances in technology, shifts in politics and world events, and for many of us, life has felt like it’s been moving at lightning speed.

Even though we’re now in the Monkey month, we’re still very much under the influence of the Fire Horse. The Horse loves freedom, movement and adventure. It’s charismatic, independent and doesn’t like to be tied down. It also has a habit of bringing hidden things into the open, so don’t be surprised if more secrets, scandals or long-hidden truths begin to surface over the coming months.

The Monkey is also known as the Travel Star, making travel a strong theme this month. We may see changes in the travel industry, along with the occasional delays or disruptions. At the same time, I wouldn’t be surprised to see exciting developments in aviation, technology and even space travel.

This month’s energy is Yang Fire sitting over the Metal Monkey (Bing Shen 丙申). In the Five Elements, Fire places pressure on Metal, encouraging it to transform. In simple terms, this is an energy that asks us to deal with what we’ve been putting off. Whether it’s in our personal lives or on a global scale, it’s time to make decisions, restructure where needed and let go of what is no longer working.

We may see businesses changing direction, governments reviewing policies and financial markets becoming more reactive as important decisions begin to unfold. As Metal is associated with money and currency, while Fire relates to investment markets and economic activity we may also witness increased volatility and important shifts within the global economy.

From a Feng Shui perspective, Monthly Flying Star 2 moves into the centre of every home and workplace this month. While traditionally known as the Illness Star, it also reminds us not to ignore our wellbeing. If you’ve been running on empty, August is your reminder to slow down and look after yourself. Keep your immune system strong, spend time outdoors weather permitting, soak up some sunshine and keep your body moving, whether that’s through walking, hiking, Tai Chi, yoga or any activity you enjoy.

One thing I’ve learnt over the years is that Chinese Astrology isn’t about predicting doom and gloom. It’s about understanding the energy so we can work with it instead of against it. August is asking us to be a little more thoughtful, a little more strategic and to build strong foundations for the rest of the year.

Sometimes the biggest progress comes not from pushing harder, but from knowing when it’s time to pause, reassess and move forward with purpose.
