🏡 When architecture and engineering work together, extraordinary homes become possible.
Set at the base of Mount Ainslie, Alach Munro House was designed to blur the boundary between indoors and the surrounding landscape. Its defining feature is an impressive two-storey glazed façade spanning 13 metres wide and almost 6 metres high.
Behind this seamless design was months of collaboration between Saul Kringas, Supaglass Industries and Australian Glass Group.
The AGG Tech & Spec® team were invited early in the design process, reviewing the proposed glazing against energy performance, wind loading, human impact requirements and structural engineering considerations to help develop a glazing solution that would perform for decades.
The result was a home filled with natural light, uninterrupted views and year-round comfort, made possible with Insulglass LowE Max® high performance double glazing.
