We applaud the initiative by the Australian Glass and Window Association (AGWA) and VENTORA to strengthen quality, integrity, and accountability across the Australian window industry.
In a sector where supply-chain transparency, labour practices, and fair international trade are often challenged, this is a meaningful step forward. It reflects a clear commitment to elevating compliance, standards, and workmanship across the board - something the entire industry benefits from.
Kudos to everyone involved. We fully support this direction and look forward to contributing to its success at every stage.

AGWA takes action to protect the Australian Window and Door industry
The Australian Glass & Window Association has initiated an Anti-Dumping case jointly with Ventora Group Pty Limited. This decisive step matters for every Australian fabricator, installer, and supplier.
What’s Happening
The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has begun investigating claims of dumping on imports of fully and partially fabricated aluminium windows and doors from China. Over the coming months, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission will be reviewing our application and engaging with stakeholders both here and overseas to understand the scope, spread, impact and evidence to support the allegations of dumping.
What It Means for the Industry
These measures help to ensure fair competition and Industry Integrity. By initiating the Anti-Dumping action, we are seeking to restore a level playing field by addressing what we allege is the increasing pe*******on of dumped product into the Australian market. This action helps to protect over 9,000 direct local jobs and the $2.72 billion aluminium window sector.
This action complements and reinforces the association's accreditation and compliance efforts, safeguarding quality and integrity across the supply chain while ensuring manufacturers and suppliers operate under fair and transparent conditions.
“AGWA stands for a fair and level playing field. We believe trade should be transparent, competitive, and compliant. This action is a necessary step to safeguard local capability, uphold standards, and secure the future of an industry that sustains thousands of Australian jobs and businesses nationwide.”
— Clinton Skeoch, Chief Executive Officer, AGWA
