Prompt Footy Tipping 2026 Round 13
A long weekend gives space for more games – so the AFL gives us 1 fewer. Sigh.
On Thursday evening the Cats travelled to Adelaide to take on the Crows. The Cats played catch up all game but didn’t quite catch the home team, who won by just 1 point. Only Noah & Nathan (M) tipped that result.
On Friday the Bulldogs had a very strong second half & fooled the Hawks (& all of us), to win by 6 points. The Hawks had their chances but inaccuracy in front of goal was costly.
We were united again with our tips for Freo against the Kangaroos in Bunbury. We all expected Freo to win, but by 124 points – WOW.
All but Stu & Dave expected the Lions to continue their slumpfor a fourth week. We were mistaken & the reigning Premiers were more than good enough to account for the Gold Coast Suns.
Over in Perth that afternoon the Eagles tried valiantly to match the Power but fell agonisingly short (by just 1 goal). Rus, Neil, Nathan (R) & Noah were let down by the Eagles.
In Sydney on Sunday the Swans overcame a slow start to spoil the Saints’ trip to the SCG by just 2 points. We all tipped the Swans but it could have gone either way.
Back at the G that afternoon the Bombers started well but were narrowly beaten by the Blues. How narrowly? Just 5 points. Nathan (M) tipped his beloved Bombers while the rest of us tipped the Blues.
Neale Daniher would have been proud on Monday. Not just in the team he coached but in the public response to the 12th iteration of the Big Freeze. In a very close game the Dees won by 8 points.
Dave tipped 6 right this week. Lucas & Stu scored 5 while the rest of us got 4.
This means Dave extends his lead in the comp. He now has 87. Nathan (R) has 83 in second with Chris, Daz & Neil tied for third on 81. Robyn, Jason & Noah have 77. Sarah, Suzy & Phil are on 75. Lucas, Rus & Stu are all on 72 with Nathan (M) on 61.
Round 14 starts at Marvel Stadium on Thursday evening when the Bulldogs will host the Crows. Should be a great game so get those tips in early & good Luck.
Cheers
Neil
