BforB is looking to launch in Melbourne and is delivering an initial “showcase” meeting showing what we offer in business networking to generate referrals. BforB builds very active groups of businesses with a strong sense of community between businesses in the group, who want to grow our businesses. We follow a structured agenda for our meetings, on which we have built a solid foundation of relationships and referrals. We work on the principle that each of us brings at least 250 business contacts within our network, to which we can connect our colleagues to add value. We meet every fortnight, and this particular meeting is a lunch meeting scheduled for11.45am start for a 1.30pm finish. However, we can replicate this at any location in Melbourne where you would like to work with us to start a group; we can do any time of day or night that the group would like to meet (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, evening etc.). Although most of our groups are mixed businesses, we can do industry specific groups too. We also have a comprehensive BforB Referral Academy, which is our online training program to assist you in developing your skills in networking, pitching, speaking and a whole range of related topics. We are therefore looking for like-minded businesses that wish to be part of a friendly and dynamic group of businesses keen to grow through referrals, strategic alliances and shared business opportunities. We operate on the principle of getting to know, like and trust our colleagues, so we are confident in passing quality referrals. We also need leaders in our groups so let us know if you would like to develop your leadership and team management skills with us.
