This looks and feels very different for us here in Victoria, working on Wurundjeri Country. While we are not able to be physically together, we are still using this week to listen, reflect, learn and hear. This week is not just a week, but an opportunity to start conversations and actions to continue. We look forward to continuing our journey of learning.

This week during , like all weeks, we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge the ongoing connection to country, land, waterways, seas and skies of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia. Our office is located on Woiwurung country, of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We work with clients on country across Australia and our staff grew up on lands throughout this country, Wurundjeri, Eora, Wadjuk, Yuggera, Tungurong. Always Was, Always Will Be.

Happy Early Childhood Educator Day! Here in Melbourne we know many educators might not get to spend today the way they might normally. And across the country, all educators have faced a very different looking year. For far, 2020 has been a tough year for many, and through the trials and challenges, our early childhood educators have remained strong, committed and passionate. At Synergistiq we're thankful for the love, care, education and support our early childhood educators provide for our own families and for our communities. Early childhood education is an essential service and strengthens our entire community. This year, like many other years, we've been privileged enough to be working closely with the early childhood sector on a few evaluations and projects, including with the Victorian Department of Education and Training, Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority, and Office of the eSafety Commissioner.
